Professional Real Estate Broker Services

The State of Iowa is seeking professional real estate broker services to represent the state in the sale, purchase, and/or lease of property, and other brokerage services as required. The contract was awarded to multiple vendors, including CBRE, Inc, Coldwell Banker, Farmers National Company, Hertz Farm Management, Iowa Commerical, Peoples Company, and The Real Estate Dept. The vendors were selected through an Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) process, where they submitted proposals and were evaluated based on their qualifications and experience. The contract does not provide a specific start or end date, but it is expected to be ongoing. The state reserves the right to open up the ITQ prequalification process at any time to enable additional respondents to apply for pre-qualification. • The ITQ process is for the Agency’s benefit and is intended to provide the Agency with competitive information to assist in the selection process. • A Respondent successfully meeting the ITQ requirements and criteria will be placed on the ITQ Prequalified List. • Agencies and other Governmental Entities may then, if they so choose, limit their bid lists for projects associated with the ITQ requirements to only the Qualified Respondents on the prequalified ITQ list. • The State reserves the right to open up the ITQ prequalification process at any time to enable additional Respondents to apply for pre-qualification. • Qualified Respondents from this ITQ will not be required to re-apply in a subsequent ITQ and will remain qualified throughout the duration of the awarded ITQ, provided that they remain qualified for the ITQ per the ITQ requirements.
