Description
This contract establishes an on‑call professional design services IDIQ for federally‑eligible reimbursable projects at three Houston airports (IAH, HOU, and EFD). The City of Houston – Houston Airport System will issue multiple Letters of Authorization over a five‑year period, allowing the awarded firms to provide architecture, civil, structural, MEP, airfield, and related engineering services on a “as‑needed” basis. The award includes six qualified firms, each required to meet a 15% DBE participation goal and to comply with extensive Houston‑specific policies (anti‑boycott, drug‑free workplace, security badge, etc.). Compensation will be negotiated per LOA using hourly rates, reimbursable expenses, and optional additional services. The contract value is $12 million, with a three‑year base term and up to two one‑year extensions.
• Scope covers full‑project lifecycle: pre‑design, design development, construction documents, construction administration, and post‑construction warranty inspections.
