The Columbia County School District (CCSD) is seeking proposals for playground equipment and shade structures for four of its elementary schools. There will be mandatory pre-bid meetings on February 28th, starting at 9:00 am, to survey the four locations. Proposals are due no later than March 14th, 2:00 pm. Vendors are encouraged to suggest multiple options and alternatives, and all items must be priced separately. The budget will be discussed at the pre-bid meeting, and pricing must be valid through June 30, 2025. All playground equipment purchased and installed on CCSD properties must comply with applicable ASTM and CPSC guidelines and meet or exceed county, state, and federal requirements. Vendors are responsible for all debris removal, site preparation, permitting, and proper location of utilities. Vendors must submit a minimum of three references on the attached CCSD Business References Form, and failure to provide adequate references may result in disqualification. The CCSD Business Department requires specific bid documents, including pricing, product descriptions, warranty information, business references, delivery schedule, playground certification, proof of insurance, E-verify form, and a signed general contract for services. Incomplete bid responses or those with less than three business references may not be considered for award.
