Description
The District of Columbia Department of General Services (DGS) is seeking a qualified Architecture/Engineering (A/E) firm to perform a full‑service design effort for a new Central Cell Block (CCB) for the District’s Department of Corrections. The firm will conduct a feasibility study of two potential sites, develop program requirements, produce schematic, design development and construction‑document sets, manage the bid phase, and provide construction‑administration services through to substantial completion. The work will be performed under a design‑bid‑build delivery method and must comply with numerous local regulatory agencies, workforce‑residence requirements, and small‑business participation goals. The contract is set‑aside for certified Small Business Enterprises and includes a fixed‑price design fee covering all six phases.
