The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking sources capable of providing an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, specifically an ambulance gurney, that meets certain requirements. The gurney must have a battery-powered system, be able to lift and transport patients up to 700 lbs, and have a fully functional manual system. It must also be compatible with the Stryker Power-LOAD system and have a backrest articulation of 0-73°. The VA is looking for companies that can provide this equipment and is requesting information about their capabilities, pricing, and delivery times. • The gurney must have a battery-powered system that raises and lowers patients with a push-button. • The gurney must be rated to safely lift and transport patients up to 700 lbs. • The gurney must have a fully functional manual system ensures operation during power loss. • The gurney must have a pneumatically assisted backrest, low-force, fold-down side rails, and a 360-degree mobility design. • The gurney must be compatible with the Stryker Power-LOAD system. • The gurney must provide a backrest articulation of 0-73° (+15° shock position) to enhance patient comfort and for more efficient clinical positioning. • The gurney must have at least an overall length of 81″, a width of 23″, and adjustable height from minimum of 14″ to maximum of 41.5″.
