Sanitary Sewer and Misc WWTP Improvements Project

The City of Douglas is seeking bids for a comprehensive sanitary sewer and wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) improvements project. The scope includes replacing existing gravity sewer lines in a downtown alley, upgrading the main interceptor sewer, installing new PVC pipe, manholes, and associated services, as well as extensive work at the WWTP such as concrete catwalk replacement, biosolids dredging, fencing, and SCADA integration. The project also requires temporary bypass pumping capacity of 1,000 gpm and miscellaneous asphalt and concrete repairs. • Replace ~630 LF of 8‑inch SDR35 PVC pipe in the Washington ½ Alley and ~1,250 LF of 36‑inch SDR35 PVC pipe in the interceptor. • Upgrade WWTP infrastructure including concrete catwalks, biosolids dredging, fence and gate replacement, HDPE floating air laterals, diffuser sleeves, and installation of water‑monitoring equipment with SCADA integration. • Provide site access, temporary bypass pumping, and related grading, resurfacing, and seeding/ mulching.
