Special Counsel Social Media Litigation

The Board of Education of the Burlington County Special Services School District and Burlington County Institute of Technology seek a New Jersey‑licensed attorney to serve as Special Counsel for social‑media‑related litigation. The selected counsel will provide legal advice, represent the Board in all related litigation, attend requested board meetings, and maintain a bona‑fide NJ office with adequate support staff. The contract is a one‑year, funding‑contingent engagement that requires extensive compliance certifications (insurance, conflict‑of‑interest, political‑contribution, EEO, etc.) and a detailed compensation proposal. • Serve as Special Counsel on all social‑media litigation matters affecting the Board. • Provide legal advice to the Board, Superintendent, and staff; attend meetings as needed. • Maintain NJ office, support staff, and submit multiple mandatory certifications and insurance coverage. • Contract runs Sept 25 2026 – Jun 30 2027 (≈9 months) with a submission deadline of Sept 23 2026.
