The City of Beaumont is seeking qualified contractors to fully rehabilitate the Harriot Street Lift Station. The scope includes demolition of existing lift‑station structures, installation of a new submersible pump system, construction of a new concrete wet well and valve vault, installation of associated electrical and control systems (PLC, VFD, generators, lightning protection), extensive civil works (excavation, backfill, trench shoring, storm‑water pollution prevention), new water line and hydrant installation, site improvements (fencing, driveway, parking), and associated permitting and testing. Bidders must provide performance and payment bonds, insurance, and comply with Buy‑America requirements.
• Demolition of existing lift‑station building, dry pit, wet well, pumps, and associated utilities.
• Supply and install new submersible pumps, control building, electrical service, and PLC equipment.
• Construct new concrete wet well, valve vault, and associated piping (36” DI force main, 36” gravity line, 18” PVC sewer).
• Provide site improvements: chain‑link fence, gate, concrete driveway, parking, water service line, hydrant, backflow preventer.
• Implement trench safety systems, shoring, and geotechnical plans.
• Perform storm‑water pollution prevention, groundwater control, and site restoration (sodding).
• Submit required bid forms, bonds, insurance affidavits, MBE participation, and compliance certifications.
