Seasonal Event Planning and Management Services

The City of Palmdale is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive seasonal event planning and management services for a series of community‑focused events throughout the year. The contractor will be responsible for concept development, vendor coordination, site setup, staffing, operations, safety, and post‑event breakdown for events such as pumpkin patches, Christmas tree lots, Easter celebrations, food‑truck festivals, farmers markets, and other seasonal activities proposed by the vendor. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, one‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions, and the vendor must maintain all required licenses, insurance, prevailing‑wage compliance, SB 1383 organic‑waste requirements, and a Community Workforce Agreement. • Plan, design, and execute multiple seasonal public events (agricultural displays, holiday décor, entertainment, food services). • Provide all staffing, permits, insurance, safety, crowd‑control, and temporary infrastructure (fencing, restrooms, lighting, waste management). • Prioritize local vendors, ensure accessibility, and comply with California labor, environmental, and procurement regulations.
