The Department of Homeless Services (DHS) seeks a qualified medical provider to deliver comprehensive medical and behavioral health services at the Atlantic Men’s Shelter, a 394‑bed assessment shelter for unhoused men. The contractor will perform on‑site assessments, crisis intervention, health promotion, harm‑reduction education, short‑term counseling, and referrals, supporting clients’ transition to permanent housing. Services must comply with NY State health regulations and DHS policies, and will be funded through a three‑year contract. • Provide medical examinations, behavioral health assessments, and urgent care at the shelter clinic. • Deliver health education, overdose prevention, and short‑term counseling, plus referrals to community services. • Operate a nurses’ station that can be staffed flexibly for other DHS sites as needed.
