This solicitation awards a one‑time contract to a licensed funeral director to disinter, transport, and reinter three human remains from the Brown Family Gravesite (Parcel 508) in Magoffin County, Kentucky, as part of a highway right‑of‑way acquisition (KY 114 – Mountain Parkway). The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, reinterment containers, and handle removal and replacement of monuments, while complying with Kentucky and Federal statutes, maintaining required insurance and performance bonds, and coordinating with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s grave‑relocation agent. The work includes site investigation, trenching, hand‑digging of graves, documentation, and final reporting. All bids are submitted electronically via the Commonwealth e‑Procurement system; the lowest priced responsive bid will be awarded.
