Description
The County of Jefferson is seeking New York‑licensed funeral directors to provide 24/7 transport of deceased persons from places of death throughout the county to the Samaritan Medical Center morgue, and when required, onward to out‑of‑county medical examiner facilities. The contractor must respond within one hour of a call, complete removal within 30 minutes of arrival, and maintain required staffing, vehicle, and safety standards for the duration of the three‑year contract (with two optional two‑year extensions).
