Combs Re-Cladding A&E Services

Eastern Kentucky University is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified architect/engineer firms to design and oversee the re‑cladding of the historic Combs Classroom Building. The scope includes condition assessment, development of design alternatives, detailed construction documents, and construction‑phase administration while the building remains occupied. The award will be a Personal Service Contract with a “not‑to‑exceed” fee negotiated after selection. • Provide architectural design options for façade replacement (stone, brick, or other materials). • Conduct structural/engineering analysis, develop detailed construction documents, and coordinate with existing mechanical, electrical, and fire‑alarm systems. • Manage phasing and on‑site coordination to keep the building occupied, attend pre‑construction, pre‑installation, and monthly progress meetings, and review pay‑applications.
