Bidders should respond by completing and submitting the attachment titled "Nursery-Bid-Sheet-FY2026-Gateway-Cities.xlsx". • The RFQ covers the time period from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026. • Single city bids will be accepted, as well as bids for multiple cities. • Awards may be made on a multiple or per-city basis. • The program expects to award multiple vendors. • Yard tree orders will be placed weekly to bi-weekly, at roughly 50 trees/order. • Deliveries should be sent on a truck with a lift gate or similar mechanism to safely offload trees to the ground. • Bidders should include projected delivery costs to each city in the appropriate section.

Budget estimate

$900,000 – $3,240,000

The budget for this opportunity can be estimated based on the quantity of trees and other nursery products required. With up to 200 public trees and up to 300 private trees per crew per season, and 9 crews in total, the estimated total number of trees per season is around 4,500 to 5,400. Assuming an average cost of $100 to $300 per tree, the total cost per season would be around $450,000 to $1,620,000. Since the RFQ covers two planting seasons, the total budget for the contract would be around $900,000 to $3,240,000.
