Removal and Replacement of Water Pump Station Doors - Phase 1

The City of Spokane Water Department is seeking a qualified contractor to remove and replace seven (7) heavy‑duty exterior steel doors, frames, and associated hardware at separate pump‑station locations. The scope includes complete demolition of existing doors, preparation of openings, installation of new out‑swing doors with specified polyaspartic finish, provision of all materials, hardware, and site security, and compliance with ANSI/SDI A250.8 Level 2 and A250.4 Level B standards. No overnight storage of materials on site is permitted, and daily security key access to the water‑department radio room is required. The contractor must also supply manufacturer cut‑sheets, obtain all permits, and adhere to Washington prevailing‑wage and insurance requirements. • Remove existing doors, frames, hardware, anchors, paint, mortar, and debris. • Install new steel doors (1‑3/4″ thick, A60 coated) with pre‑primed polyaspartic urethane finish and approved hardware (Stanley, Best, Precision, etc.). • Provide daily site security, construction‑core key, and notification to the radio room; no overnight material storage. • Deliver all required permits, warranty (1‑year), and documentation; adhere to specified schedule (start within 10 days of NTP, substantial completion by 30 April 2027).
