Medeco High Security Locks and Services

The State of Iowa is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, install, maintain, and repair Medeco High Security Locks for all state-operated facilities. The contract is expected to begin on 05/01/2026 and end on 04/30/2027, with the option to renew for up to five years. The successful bidder will be required to provide professional installation and maintenance services, as well as a one-year warranty on labor. Key features of the locking system include Medeco BPS or MVP anti-pick, anti-bump key cylinders, heavy-duty deadbolts and locksets, and custom master keying. • The locking system must be installed and integrated with existing systems by professional, vetted specialists. • The vendor must provide materials, equipment, and clean-up for each service call. • The contract may be renewed for up to five years. • The State of Iowa prefers to pay Bidders using its Purchasing Card Program (Pcard) whenever possible. • Bidders accepting Pcard payments shall comply with the Terms of Pcard Acceptance.
