Description
The Town of Granite Falls, NC is seeking a single prime contractor to design, supply, install, integrate, and support a comprehensive Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) that will read both existing Itron electric meters (≈2,715 units, 600‑700 AMI‑compatible) and all water meters (≈2,836 units). The scope includes communications network hardware (collectors, gateways, repeaters, antennas), head‑end software, integration with the town’s Tyler ERP Pro 10 billing system, GPS tagging of water meters, installation of AMI registers/endpoints on existing Neptune T‑10 water meters (or full replacements where needed), training, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
