Worker's Compensation Third Party Administration Service

The City of Austin is seeking a qualified firm to provide worker's compensation third-party administration services. The selected firm will be responsible for managing the City's worker's compensation claims, including investigating claims, determining eligibility, and providing benefits to eligible employees. The firm will also be required to provide reporting and analytics to support program oversight and decision-making. The scope of work includes claims administration, performance guarantees, claims administration services technical plan and strategy, reporting technology and data analytics, and more. The City is looking for a firm with experience in providing similar services to public sector entities. • The firm must have experience in managing worker's compensation claims for public sector entities. • The firm must have a proven track record of providing high-quality claims administration services. • The firm must have the ability to provide transparent and real-time access to claim information and meaningful data analytics. • The firm must have experience in providing reporting and analytics to support program oversight and decision-making. • The firm must have a strong understanding of the Texas Labor Code and the Medicare Secondary Payor Program.
