Description
The Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation is inviting proposals for a bicycle rental partnership with Vermont State Parks. The rental partnership will provide bicycle rentals and Burton Island State Park and Grand Isle State Park. The mission of the bike rental operation is to promote the bicycle as a means of transportation and recreation for all park visitors.
* Key aspects of the proposal include:
* Providing a bike rental package at the beginning of each season
* Providing basic bike maintenance training to park staff
* Providing a rental fleet maintenance overhaul two times per season
* Developing a storage plan in conjunction with the State
* Complying with State's Attachment C
