RFP: Employee Benefits Broker/Consultant

The County of San Mateo is seeking a broker-consultant to provide employee benefits services, including medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, as well as administrative services. The selected consultant will work with the County to develop and implement benefits programs, provide data analytics, and negotiate with insurance carriers. The contract will be for a term of five years. • The consultant will be responsible for providing services to the County's 8,400 full- and part-time employees. • The consultant will be expected to have experience working with public sector clients and providing similar services. • The consultant will be required to provide a detailed proposal outlining their approach, qualifications, and pricing. • The County is seeking a consultant who can provide innovative solutions and excellent customer service. • The consultant will be expected to work closely with the County's Human Resources Department to develop and implement benefits programs.
