ABC Program RFQ

The City of Seattle’s Office of Economic Development is establishing a pool of qualified consultants to deliver no‑cost, project‑based technical assistance to eligible small businesses and nonprofits through its Accounting and Business Consulting (ABC) Program for fiscal year 2027. Consultants will be selected based on demonstrated experience in one of four service categories (Accounting & Bookkeeping, Marketing & Branding, Business Development, Loan Support) and will receive assignments as business needs arise. The contract runs Jan 1 2027‑Dec 31 2027, with no guaranteed minimum hours or revenue; consultants must submit qualifications by Nov 9 2026. • Four service categories with defined core services (e.g., bookkeeping, SEO, business planning, financing readiness). • Minimum 2 years consulting experience and at least three relevant small‑business engagements in the past 3 years. • Consultants must hold any required professional licenses. • Assignments are on a project‑by‑project basis; consultants must document hours, deliverables, and outcomes in City‑designated systems. • Optional pre‑submission conference on Oct 9 2026 (non‑mandatory). • All questions due Oct 21 2026; submission deadline Nov 9 2026.
