Description
The County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County are seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance for Blue Heron Golf Course over a five‑year period. The scope includes mowing, fertilizing, weed control, aeration, bunker upkeep, light tree pruning, irrigation scheduling, operation and repairs, as well as maintenance of the surrounding building area. The contractor must supply all equipment, materials, and labor, and will be responsible for the appearance and functional performance of the course throughout the contract term. Monthly performance reviews will be conducted by the County, and any disputes will be arbitrated by the University of Maryland’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The contract requires a minimum of six years’ experience in golf course maintenance and a relevant degree or certificate.
