Description
The State Highway Administration (SHA) of Maryland is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, and emergency support for two diesel‑powered emergency/standby generators located at the Dayton and Jessup maintenance facilities. The contract is a fixed‑price, 36‑month award (or until funds are exhausted) and is limited to certified small businesses. The contractor must perform routine inspections, cooling‑system service, fuel‑system checks, battery and starting‑system maintenance, load‑bank testing once per year, and respond to emergency calls within four hours. All work is to be performed on‑site, with detailed reporting and documentation required after each service visit. The scope includes labor, parts, transportation, and equipment, with no travel reimbursement. Bidders must submit required certifications, references, insurance proof, and complete all required attachments via the eMMA portal.
