RFP 26-03 Engineering Academic Building

The University of Virginia is seeking qualified Architectural/Engineering firms to submit a Letter of Interest/Statement of Qualifications for the design of a new Engineering Academic Building. The initial scope covers program verification and schematic design, with the potential for the university to retain the selected firm for full design and construction services in later phases. This opportunity targets firms with strong experience in academic building design and integrated A/E services. • Provide program verification, architectural, and engineering design services for a new engineering academic building. • Submit a Letter of Interest and Statement of Qualifications with supporting materials. • Initial work focuses on the Schematic Design phase; successful firms may be retained for full design and construction. • Compliance with the UVA Higher Education Capital Outlay Manual (HECOM) is required. • Opportunity to secure multi‑phase contracts if the schematic design phase is successfully completed.
