Business Services RFP

The Clark County Department of Job and Family Services (DJFS) seeks a single contractor to deliver a one‑year Business Services program supporting employer engagement and workforce development through OhioMeansJobs (OMJ). The contractor will act as a liaison between local employers and WIOA‑funded job seekers, coordinate job fairs, provide labor‑market data, and help develop apprenticeship pathways. Work includes weekly employer communications, posting job orders, maintaining records in the ARIES system, and attending weekly and quarterly meetings. An office space is provided, and the contractor must be on‑site every Wednesday. The contract is funded at up to $150,000 for FY 2027, with a possible one‑year extension. • Develop and maintain employer relationships, documenting insights weekly. • Promote OMJ services, match employers with qualified WIOA job seekers, and facilitate referrals. • Coordinate and execute two annual career fairs (Spring and After‑Hours). • Provide labor‑market information and support rapid‑response events. • Record employer activity in ARIES within 30 days and submit required data. • Attend weekly OMJ Business Services meetings and quarterly partner meetings. • Deliver quarterly performance reports and monthly updates to OMJ staff.
