Description
The Borough of Hightstown is seeking qualified professional‑service contractors to fill a series of distinct positions for the 2027 fiscal year. The solicitation covers legal, engineering, planning, auditing, and affordable‑housing administration services, each to be provided on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Interested firms must be registered New Jersey public contractors and must submit sealed proposals by the stated deadline. The scope includes:
• Borough Attorney – general municipal legal counsel
• Borough Engineer – design, review, and oversight of municipal infrastructure projects
• Labor Counsel, Bond Counsel, Special Counsel – OPRA, Planning Board Attorney – specialized legal advisory roles
• Municipal Auditor – financial and operational audit services
• Borough Planner & Planning Board Engineer – land‑use planning and engineering support
• Affordable Housing Administrator & Affordable Housing Attorney – administration and legal support for affordable‑housing programs
• Redevelopment Attorney – legal services for redevelopment initiatives
Each contract is expected to run for the 2027 fiscal year, with compensation determined by the Borough based on the scope and experience of the contractor.
