Gwinnett County is seeking a vendor to provide a Thermo Scientific Mindray BA‑800M automated chemistry analyzer, associated drug‑testing reagents, consumables, installation, on‑site training for up to four staff members, and ongoing manufacturer‑authorized support for an initial one‑year term with four optional one‑year renewals. The contract requires a web‑based data‑management platform that integrates with the State‑approved Five‑Points case‑management system and meets strict security and reporting requirements. The vendor must meet extensive insurance and compliance obligations and be able to deliver the full suite of reagents (totaling hundreds of thousands of test kits annually) within a 14‑day implementation window after award.
• Supply and install the BA‑800M analyzer (800 tests/hour, 300‑tube capacity).
• Provide annual quantities of 17+ drug‑testing reagents (e.g., Amphetamine, Benzodiazepine, Cocaine, etc.) plus validity reagents.
• Deliver on‑site training for four County staff, include travel costs, and offer manufacturer‑authorized maintenance and support.
• Implement a secure web‑based results management system with integration to the Five‑Points case‑management platform and automated reporting.
• Maintain required insurance coverage (CGL, auto, workers’ comp, umbrella, cyber) and submit all mandatory affidavits and certifications.
