DOC Anamosa Sallyport Tunnel & LUB Tunnel Wall Repair

The State of Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services to make repairs to the Stone Utility Tunnel Walls located under the Sally Port Entrance and In front of Living Unit B at Anamosa State Penitentiary. The scope of work includes repairs to the existing stone utility tunnel walls, which consist of void space at the lower portion of the stone wall, deteriorated wall joints, and deteriorated concrete tunnel lid/paving above. The project also includes repairs to the tunnel wall corner locations where outside corners have deteriorated and/or are missing. The selected designer will be responsible for providing a project-specific schedule, resumes for all technical staff, anticipated hours and rates for each person on the design team, and a lump sum broken down by schedule of values. • The project requires a project-specific Certificate of Insurance with a Professional Liability policy of $2,000,000 and a deductible of $25,000. • The designer must use the Procore online project management system, which will be provided at no cost. • The designer must register prior to submission and ensure the ability to log in as soon as possible to ensure proposals can be submitted on the due date. • The electronic documents submitted must contain any required signatures, and digital signatures will be accepted.
