Description
The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking a contractor to design, install, operate, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) at several city properties. The contractor will be responsible for providing a firm fixed-price plus an annual escalation rate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) contract. The term of the contract will be 20 years plus the duration of the design and construction period, with an option to extend. The contractor must provide a minimum guaranteed annual energy production and ensure that the systems are designed and installed to meet the city's safety and performance requirements.
