Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source 8(a) Procurement to The J Group, LLC, for Temporary Chef Services

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District, Contracting Division, intends to award a sole-source, commercial services purchase order to The J Group, LLC, for temporary Chef services. The services will support the Memphis District Operations Division by providing temporary Chef services for the Mississippi River Commission (MRC) and revetment operations from FY26 through FY30. All services must be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The proposed action will be a Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Services type contract. • The contract will be for temporary Chef services. • The services will support the Memphis District Operations Division. • The contract will be a Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Services type contract. • The NAICS Code is 722310 with a Small Business size standard in amount of $47,000,000 dollars. • Interested firms must provide documentation demonstrating their capability by June 17, 2026.
