WRSU – Biohazard Waste Removal Services

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking a contractor to provide biohazardous, infectious, trace chemotherapy, and hazardous pharmaceutical waste collection, transportation, and disposal services for the Whiteriver Service Unit in Whiteriver, AZ. The contractor will be required to provide weekly biohazard waste pickups, quarterly hazardous pharmaceutical waste disposal, and all required labor, equipment, transportation, and disposal. The contract will be for a base period of one year with option years. • The contractor must comply with all applicable EPA, OSHA, RCRA, Federal, Tribal, State, and local regulations governing hazardous and medical waste management. • The contractor must provide compliant waste containers and pharmacy formulary characterization twice annually. • The contractor must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of offer submission. • The contractor must submit a technical proposal, a price proposal, and contractor representations and certifications with their offer.
