Program Manager Consultant - Individual Artists

The Kansas Department of Commerce is seeking a consultant to manage and administer grant programs with a focus on individual artists. The consultant will be responsible for administering the complete grant lifecycle, including application guidelines, panel review processes, and grant contract management. The consultant will also be responsible for promoting the Kansas Touring Artist Roster and providing technical assistance to grantee organizations. The ideal candidate will have experience in arts administration, grant management, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Manage grant programs for individual artists • Administer the Kansas Touring Artist Roster application and selection process • Provide technical assistance to grantee organizations • Promote the Kansas Touring Artist Roster to potential presenters • Coordinate professional development programs for artists • Build and maintain relationships with individual artist networks across Kansas • Represent the Kansas Arts Commission at arts-related events and activities
