Martinsburg Skate Park

The City of Martinsburg is seeking a qualified contractor to construct a new skatepark (Phase 1) including concrete skate features, shotcrete transitions, steel coping, and an asphalt pump‑track at the corner of S. Spring Street and Water Street. The scope covers full site work from mobilization through final close‑out, including erosion control, drainage, concrete and steel fabrication, asphalt paving, painting, testing, and warranty provisions. Bidders must submit sealed bids by the public opening date, provide a 10 % bid bond and a 100 % performance bond, and demonstrate at least three recent comparable projects, one involving cast‑in‑place or shotcrete skate‑park construction. • Construction of reinforced concrete flatwork, skate‑park features, and shotcrete transitions per American Ramp Company drawings (SP‑01‑SP‑26) and CEC Phase 1 plans (C000‑C802). • Installation of steel coping/rails, asphalt pump‑track, drainage system, and site restoration; all work must meet City specifications and be completed by September 1 2027 (substantial) with final completion by October 1 2027. • Mandatory bid documentation includes bid bond (≥10 % of bid), performance bond (100 % of contract sum), insurance, qualifications, and acknowledgment of all addenda.
