The Department for Children and Families is seeking a vendor to provide processing of child support payments for support orders in Kansas, known as the Kansas Payment Center (KPC). The KPC is a unique operation that processes support payments for both Title IV-D and Non-IV-D support orders in Kansas. The vendor will be responsible for establishing operating facilities in Topeka, Kansas, and providing various services, including mail processing, payment processing, and customer service. The contract will be for an initial four-year term with an optional 24-month renewal period. • The KPC Contractor must comply with all Kansas law and meet requirements set forth in Title IV-D. • The KPC Contractor shall establish operating facilities fully located in Topeka, Kansas. • The KPC Contractor shall provide training to its staff on all aspects of the KPC operation. • The KPC Contractor shall maintain procedural manuals in a current and updated manner. • The KPC Contractor shall have significant contacts with both DCF staff and with DCF-CSS' full-service Contractors.
