The State of Iowa is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive statewide courier services for all Iowa agencies, including daily scheduled routes, on‑call pickups, next‑day delivery, and handling of specialized items such as confidential documents, medical/bio‑hazard materials, and heavy parcels up to 80 lb. The contractor must supply its own vehicles, maintain real‑time GPS tracking, provide proof‑of‑delivery within 24 hours, and meet stringent performance metrics (≥ 95 % on‑time for scheduled routes, ≥ 90 % for on‑call deliveries). Additional requirements include a dedicated account manager, 24 × 7 request portal, emergency response within 30 minutes, quarterly performance reports, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (DOT, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.). The contract term runs from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 with the possibility of up to five one‑year extensions.
