The Vermont Agency of Education seeks one or more contractors to provide statewide consulting, training, and technical assistance to address chronic absenteeism in Vermont schools. The work includes:
• Designing and facilitating youth, family, and caregiver engagement sessions (virtual and in‑person).
• Delivering a “Readiness Series” of virtual trainings (Dec 2026‑Jun 2027) on data systems, early‑warning alerts, MTSS, and communication strategies.
• Providing up to three pilot‑coaching projects for selected LEAs to implement attendance teams, model procedures, and fidelity measurement, with ongoing reporting.
• Producing monthly progress reports, quarterly narrative summaries, and final outcome summaries.
Contracts are for up to one year starting Dec 1 2026, with two optional one‑year renewals. The State expects bidders to have proven experience in large‑scale educational professional‑learning initiatives, evidence‑based attendance interventions, and data‑driven MTSS implementation.
