Auditing Assistance with the KY Lottery Corporation

The Auditor of Public Accounts is seeking a certified public accounting firm to perform an audit of the Kentucky Lottery Corporation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026. The selected firm will be required to perform a financial statement audit, a financial-related audit of subsequent events, and a financial-related audit of internal control over financial reporting. The firm will also be required to provide a report on internal control over financial reporting and on compliance and other matters based on an audit of the financial statements performed in accordance with Government Auditing Standards. The audit must be completed within 90 days of the close of the Lottery's fiscal year. Key aspects of the job include: * Performing a financial statement audit to determine whether the financial statements of the Lottery present fairly the financial position and results of operations in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States of America * Performing a financial-related audit of subsequent events for the period from the date of the firm's report on the Lottery's financial statements until contacted by the Auditor of Public Accounts * Performing a financial-related audit of internal control over financial reporting, including computer controls specific to applications that have financial significance * Providing a report on internal control over financial reporting and on compliance and other matters based on an audit of the financial statements performed in accordance with Government Auditing Standards * Delivering a copy of the draft report and management letter to the Auditor of Public Accounts at least one week prior to presentation of the draft to the Lottery
