The Shelby County Board of Education (Memphis‑Shelby County Schools) is seeking qualified vendors to provide on‑demand, temporary information‑technology staffing on a work‑order basis. Vendors will be placed on a pool and called upon to supply qualified IT personnel—ranging from help‑desk support to senior security architects—when a specific staffing need arises. The contract is a fixed‑price, price‑contract with an initial one‑year term and two optional one‑year renewals; vendors must accept the agency‑budgeted hourly rate ranges for beginner, mid‑level, and expert staff. Key responsibilities include recruitment, background checks, payroll, timesheet reporting, insurance compliance, and rapid replacement of unsatisfactory staff. • Provide IT professionals (help‑desk, network, server, cloud, security, development, data analytics, project management, etc.) on a work‑order basis. • Accept agency‑budgeted hourly rate ranges (Beginner $15‑$25, Mid‑Level $25‑$90, Expert $60‑$150) and bill at those rates. • Manage all compliance items: background checks, drug screens, E‑Verify, insurance (minimum $2 M GL, $1 M auto, $500 k employer liability), and badge fees. • Commit to a 1‑year contract with optional renewals, submit annual cost‑reduction recommendations, and replace staff within 1 business day if needed.
