Special Event Support Services 2026

The City of San Mateo is seeking a Special Event Support Services vendor to provide event staging and audio/visual support for citywide events. The contract will commence on June 1, 2026, and expire on December 31, 2026. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing staging, tents, dance floor, and audio/visual support services for various events, including the Central Park Music Series, 4th of July in the Park, and September Nights on B Street. The vendor must demonstrate experience in providing similar services and meet the minimum specifications outlined in the RFP. Some key events and their requirements include: • Eggstravaganza: Staging, audio/visual, and additional hourly labor costs • Central Park Music Series: Staging, tents, dance floor, audio/visual, and additional hourly labor costs • 4th of July in the Park: Staging, tents, dance floor, audio/visual, and additional hourly labor costs • September Nights on B Street: Staging, audio/visual, and additional hourly labor costs • Boos & Brews on B Street: Staging, audio/visual, and additional hourly labor costs • Central Park Playground Ribbon Cutting: Staging, audio/visual, and additional hourly labor costs
