Medeco High Security Locks and Services

The State of Iowa is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, install, maintain, and repair Medeco High Security Locks for all state-operated facilities. The contract aims to secure a reliable and experienced supplier of this locking system. Key specifications include core locking mechanisms, installation and integration, and warranty. The successful bidder must be able to satisfy all these specifications to be deemed a Responsible Bidder. • Key features of the locking system include Medeco BPS or MVP anti-pick, anti-bump key cylinders, heavy-duty deadbolts and multipoint locksets, and custom master keying. • The vendor must provide professional installation and maintenance, materials, equipment, and clean-up for each service call, and integration with existing systems if applicable. • The contract includes a manufacturer warranty on products and 1 year on labor.
