25-127 RFQ Professional Services-Courthouse and Courts Annex Design

The St. Charles County Government is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional services for the design and engineering of the Courthouse and Courts Annex. The project consists of three phases: a comprehensive planning and space planning study, architectural and engineering design services for the renovation of the Courts Annex building, and renovation of the existing St. Charles County Courthouse. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering a full range of design services, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Key considerations include compliance with modern court standards, security enhancements, ADA accessibility, and the separation of public, secure, and staff circulation paths. • The project requires a comprehensive planning and space planning study to address the growing space needs of the Missouri 11th Circuit Court and the departments that support and interact with court operations. • The firm should have experience with similar projects, including courthouse operations and design. • The project involves a phased design, permitting, and construction schedule. • The firm should have a strong understanding of the project's requirements and be able to demonstrate their approach to confirming existing conditions, scope of project, and meeting project deadlines. • The firm should have a veteran-friendly employment policy and be able to provide a copy of such policy upon request.
