Description
The City of Salina is seeking qualified contractors to paint and repair the North Ohio Street Bridge overpass. The work includes extensive surface preparation, high‑performance epoxy and fluoropolymer coating applications to bridge fencing, light poles, concrete barriers, and related steel/aluminum elements, as well as specific fence repairs such as longitudinal pipe split repairs, wire‑mesh tack welds, and catch‑hole installations. The contract emphasizes strict compliance with SSPC/NACE cleaning standards, VOC limits, and a one‑year post‑completion inspection.
• Paint removal, blasting, and recoating of ~250 sf of fence pole touch‑up paint (optional).
• Repair of 9 longitudinal pipe splits and installation of 16 catch‑holes, plus 12 wire‑mesh tack welds.
• Use of Tnemec high‑build epoxy primers and fluoropolymer finishes in RAL 6026 green (and other specified colors).
• Substantial completion required by 15 Oct 2027 with final payment by 12 Nov 2027.
