V231--Veteran Patient Long/Short Term Lodging, San Diego, CA

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors to provide hotel services for patient lodging near the VA Medical Center - La Jolla facility in San Diego, CA. The contractor shall provide services for an estimated ten (10) pre-approved patients per day, with the possibility of increasing or decreasing the number of rooms as needed. The hotel must meet specific requirements, including having a front desk/lobby with 24/7 staffing, interior corridors for room access, refrigerator and microwave in room, and more. The contractor must also provide transportation or free complimentary shuttle service to the VASDHS station of treatment and from the VASDHS station of treatment. • The hotel location must be within 10-mile driving distance radius of the San Diego VA Medical Center. • The hotel location must be within one (1) mile radius of the VASDHS Aspire Center. • The hotel must have front desk/lobby with 24/7 staffing. • The hotel must have interior corridors for room access. • The hotel must have refrigerator and microwave in room. • The hotel must have restaurant on-site or within 2 block walking distance from the hotel. • The hotel must provide continental breakfast included. • The hotel must have in-room telephone w/free local calls. • The hotel must have free parking. • The hotel must have daily housekeeping services. • The hotel must have coin laundry facilities on site. • The hotel must have handicap rooms with wheelchair roll-in showers. • The hotel must have elevator (if more than one level).
