Building 5 Interior Renovation Project (EOI)

The State of West Virginia is soliciting Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified firms to provide architectural and engineering services for the interior renovation of Floors 1 through 6 of Building Five, located on the West Virginia State Capitol Complex. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering complete professional A/E services, including design services for the architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines. The project scope also incorporates hazardous materials abatement and construction administration efforts. • The project will be delivered in multiple phases within a partially occupied building. • The selected firm should have experience in managing renovation projects within occupied facilities. • The firm should be capable of developing a phasing plan that ensures safe, continuous operations for tenant agencies. • The project goals and objectives include providing comprehensive design services, resolving building code and life safety issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable environmental regulations and occupational safety standards.
