The City of Providence, Police Department is seeking a Mounted Command Horse Trainer for a two-year contract with two one-year options for renewal. The goal is to have each Mounted Officer assigned a designated horse with two spares to compensate for the weakness of another horse who may be better suited for particular events/duties or in the event that one of the horses needs further training, is ill or injured.
