Request for Qualifications for Architectural Services

The State of Connecticut is seeking architectural services for the replacement of the HVAC system at the former School of Business building, which will become the new home for the School of Education. The project involves selective demolition, reconstruction of areas disturbed for installation of equipment, and interior and exterior improvements. The selected team will provide services in support of the project, including but not limited to geothermal heating and cooling. Key considerations for this project include: • Experience with similar projects • Ability to work with the existing building structure • Knowledge of geothermal heating and cooling systems • Ability to provide a highly talented and experienced team • Compliance with all relevant regulations and standards The estimated total cost of the project is $6,470,000.
