AE Upgrade Building 49 #610-26-101

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm to provide professional services for the upgrade of Building 49 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion Campus. The design will include Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction/Bid Documents, Construction Administration Services, Technical Specifications, and Cost Estimates. The building upgrade will accommodate the following functions: demolition of the interior, administration offices, exterior upgrades, M.E.P (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) upgrades, and abatement of mold, asbestos, and lead. • The A/E firm will be required to furnish professional services for 100% design. • The design will include Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction/Bid Documents, Construction Administration Services, Technical Specifications, and Cost Estimates. • The building upgrade will accommodate the following functions: demolition of the interior, administration offices, exterior upgrades, M.E.P (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) upgrades, and abatement of mold, asbestos, and lead. • The A/E firm will be evaluated based on their professional qualifications, experience, and technical competence. • The contract will be awarded to a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
