SOURCES SOUGHT for DISPOSAL SERVICES of Contaminated Jet Fuel

The Hawaii National Guard is seeking information from capable and qualified sources, particularly small businesses, to provide disposal services for contaminated jet fuel. The scope of work requires the removal and proper disposal of approximately 3,500 gallons of Jet-A fuel suspected of hydraulic fluid contamination. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to safely drain, remove, transport, and recycle/dispose of the contaminated fuel. Key requirements include: • Safely draining the R-11 refueler • Preventing, containing, and immediately reporting/cleaning up any spills on government property • Transporting and disposing of/recycling the contaminated fuel in accordance with all applicable Federal, State of Hawaii, and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) codes and regulations • Providing a certified waste manifest document to the government within seven days after final inspection • Meeting all base access and security requirements for JBPHH
