Description
The U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, Romania is seeking qualified contractors to provide snow‑removal, de‑icing, and related winter‑maintenance services on a fixed‑price hourly basis for the embassy compound, the ambassador’s residence, and two additional U.S. properties. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, fuel, PPE, and supervision, responding to weather triggers (≥ 5 cm snow or “Yellow code”) and delivering work within the same day (or next working day for after‑hours work). The contract is an IDIQ with a one‑year base period and two optional extensions, running 12 months from the Notice to Proceed, with a maximum aggregate ceiling of $200,000 and a minimum guaranteed value of $10,000 per year.
• Provide 24/7 readiness for snow/ice events, including outside‑working‑hours response.
• Maintain required equipment (minimum two multifunctional snow‑removal machines, spreaders, sprayers, etc.) and staffing (site supervisor, foreman, operators, laborers).
• Submit monthly performance reports, daily checklists, and detailed action plans for light, medium, and heavy weather scenarios.
