POS and On-line Payment Processor Services

The Beaufort County Treasurer’s Office is seeking a vendor to provide Point of Sale (POS) and online payment processing services. The selected vendor will be required to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-effective payment solutions for the acceptance of electronic payments, including credit cards, debit cards, ACH/e-check transactions, and digital wallets. The vendor must also provide robust reporting, reconciliation, advanced functionality, and comprehensive compliance capabilities. • The vendor must support multiple card brands, including Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover. • The vendor must provide in-person and card-not-present payment options, as well as mobile payment options and digital wallets. • The vendor must have experience working with businesses of similar size and industry. • The vendor must provide a detailed description of their API and payment gateway, as well as their POS hardware and software solutions. • The vendor must demonstrate compliance with relevant regulations, including PCI-DSS Level 1. • The vendor must provide information on their pricing structure, including any enrollment fees, monthly maintenance fees, or cancellation fees. The County is seeking a vendor that can provide a high-quality customer service experience for both taxpayers and internal users, while also maximizing the use of technology to serve citizens and gain internal efficiencies.
